The President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, stated that China is Brazil's best partner during a visit to the industrial park of the automotive conglomerate Caoa in the city of Anápolis, capital of the state of Goiás (west-central). “I am sure that the partnership with China will go smoothly, because China is today Brazil's best partner,” emphasized the head of state while participating in the re-inauguration of the plant alongside Brazil's Vice President and Minister of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services, Geraldo Alckmin. Launch of a Changan Model During the event, the production line for the Uni-T model, manufactured in partnership with the Chinese automaker Changan, was launched. This is the first model of the brand to be produced entirely in the South American country. “If in Brazil we had more entrepreneurs of your quality, so young and committed to the city, to the industry, to Brazil, and to the people, and also managed to get a Chinese partner to bring technology, Brazil would surely have no problems,” Lula da Silva added.
