The Supreme Court determined that the far-right leader will have 24-hour access to medical care due to his recurring health problems, a consequence of the stabbing he received in 2018. The court order, issued by Judge Alexandre de Moraes, establishes that Bolsonaro will only be able to receive visitors with prior judicial authorization. The former Brazilian president, Jair Bolsonaro, who was arrested on Saturday by order of the Federal Supreme Court, was confined to a room at the Federal Police headquarters in Brasilia that is adapted to house high-ranking officials, and therefore has various amenities. According to Noticias Argentinas agency, Bolsonaro remains in a twelve-square-meter room known as the "State Room". The former president was arrested to prevent flight and "threat to public order" after being sentenced in September to 27 years in prison for attempted coup d'état.
