Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has been re-hospitalized in a Brasilia hospital and remains in intensive care due to bacterial bronchopneumonia. The 70-year-old far-right leader is receiving intravenous antibiotic treatment while doctors monitor his condition, according to Agencia Noticias Argentinas. Bolsonaro was transferred to DF Star Hospital after suffering from a high fever, chills, vomiting, and a drop in oxygen levels, symptoms that led physicians to confirm the lung infection. According to medical reports, the former head of state will remain hospitalized for several days under observation while continuing with intensive clinical treatment. Currently, the former leader is serving a 27-year prison sentence for his role in a conspiracy to overturn the results of the 2022 elections, in which he was defeated by Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. In this context, his transfer to the hospital was carried out from the detention center where he was serving his sentence. Following the news of his health status, family members and political allies have once again requested that his sentence be served under house arrest.
