The First Chamber of Brazil's Supreme Court now has a majority to uphold the preventive detention order issued on Saturday against former President Jair Bolsonaro and to keep him imprisoned at the Federal Police headquarters in Brasilia. The first three of the five justices in the First Chamber voted in favor of upholding the preventive detention order issued on Saturday by Justice Alexandre de Moraes, who is presiding over the case in which the far-right leader was convicted for sedition.
