Brasilia, December 15 (NA) -- Hundreds of protesters gathered in Brasilia to protest against the impunity of those responsible for the violent events of January 8, 2023.
The mobilization focused on two main demands: the rejection of any attempt at amnesty for those involved in the attempted coup d'état, and opposition to the bill that seeks to reduce the prison sentence for those convicted of the same events, learned the Argentine News Agency.
The demonstration, marked by slogans demanding justice and defending democracy, had some tense moments amid the controversy over legislative initiatives that could benefit the convicted.
