Although she was initially detained, she is currently out on provisional release. Born in Rosario, Palameta Miller holds a degree in Biotechnology and a PhD in Sciences. After completing her education, she settled in Brazil, where she developed most of her professional career. There, she participated in projects related to cancer therapies and the development of various vaccines, which had earned her recognition in the scientific community. According to the accusation, she not only removed the material without authorization but also put public health at risk. Her entourage is also being investigated. The scientist's husband, Michael Edward Miller, an American veterinarian, who is said to be a co-founder of a biotechnology solutions company along with Palameta Miller, is also named in the case.
