A family from the Argentine province of Chaco is enduring a distressing time in Brazil after their two-year-old son, Felipe, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma during a vacation. The child was admitted to the intensive care unit in serious condition. After initial attention at an emergency ward, he was transferred to the Children's Hospital of Florianópolis, where complex studies confirmed the presence of tumors in the chest, spinal cord, bladder, and left orbital area. Currently, a medical transfer to Argentina is impossible due to the high risk associated with the patient's condition. Nevertheless, Brazilian doctors maintain a permanent channel of collaboration with the Pediatric Hospital of Resistencia to monitor the case's evolution and define the next steps, including chemotherapy. Faced with the need to remain in the neighboring country for an indefinite period, the family has launched a solidarity campaign to cover their accommodation and living expenses. Additionally, they have organized a charity raffle to raise funds urgently.
