
The airline JetSMART announced the opening of a new direct route between Recife, Brazil, and Buenos Aires, Argentina, starting July 1. This flight, which will operate four times a week, aims to strengthen the flow of passengers between both regions and facilitate tourism and business between the two countries.
Marcelo Freixo, president of Embratur, emphasized the importance of this new flight in tightening ties between Brazilians and Argentinians. For his part, Gonzalo Pérez Corral, Country Manager of JetSMART in Argentina, highlighted that this route strengthens the position of Recife International Airport as a gateway to northeastern Brazil and allows the opening of new destinations from Argentina to the region.
Federico Petazzi, Commercial Manager of JetSMART in Argentina, stressed that the affordable prices of flights, starting from 262,500 Argentine pesos per leg, make the proposal very attractive for travelers. It is also highlighted that northeastern Brazil offers Argentine tourists not only beautiful landscapes and beaches but also rich cuisine and authentic cultural experiences.
With the introduction of this new route, JetSMART aims to promote tourism and commercial activities between Argentina and Brazil, opening new opportunities for travelers and the development of both countries. The incorporation of Airbus A321 aircraft will enable a better offering of high-density flights with more efficient operations, ensuring connectivity and comfort for passengers.
