The president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, confirmed her participation in the G20 summit to be held in Rio de Janeiro on the 18th and 19th of next month. This is the first time this event is held in Brazil and gathers international leaders from the 20 richest nations in the world.

During a recent conference, Sheinbaum stated: "We have already decided that we will go to the G20," when asked about her agenda for next month. In addition, she mentioned that she will return in time to participate in the parade on November 20 in commemoration of the Mexican Revolution.

The president is also considering attending the Sustainability Trust award ceremony, awarded by the University of Berkeley in the United States, which coincides with a meeting organized three months ago with German businessmen and Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Sheinbaum expressed her intention to move the appointment to the afternoon of November 20, and if that is not possible, she will send a representative in her place.

This trip will mark Claudia Sheinbaum's first international trip since she took office.
