Several players of Flamengo became victims of an armed attack on the track in Rio de Janeiro. Among the injured footballers was Gabriel Batista da Silva, he received serious bodily injuries that do not threaten his life.
According to information from the media, the incident occurred on Thursday around 17:30 Moscow time, when a car with the footballers stopped at a traffic light. Armed robbers approached the car and attempted to rob the sportsmen. The shootout began after one of the Flamengo players refused to leave the car.
The club's management expressed concern about the incident and confirmed that the sportsmen were in the center of the armed attack. They reported that Gabriel Batista da Silva was shot in the hip and taken to the hospital, where he received the necessary medical assistance.
