This weekend, the Brazilian Grand Prix of Formula 1 will take place, a crucial stage for the Argentine Franco Colapinto in his quest to secure a seat with a team for the 2025 season. A strong presence of Argentine supporters is expected in São Paulo, which will make Colapinto feel at home every time he steps onto the track at the José Carlos Pace Autodrome, also known as Interlagos.

Colapinto's activity schedule will be intense. He will start on Friday with a free practice at 11:30, and just four hours later, he will have to compete in the Qualifying for the Sprint race. The action will continue on Saturday, with the Sprint race scheduled for 11 in the morning and the qualifying for the main race at 15:00. Finally, on Sunday, the main race will take place starting at 14:00.

This will be Colapinto's sixth Brazilian Grand Prix in Formula 1. The Argentine, originally from Pilar, will replace American Logan Sargeant at Williams until the end of the season and has already competed in Italy, Azerbaijan, Singapore, the United States, and Mexico. In his previous races, Colapinto has maintained good performance, not falling below twelfth place and managing to score five points in the championship.

In Brazil, Colapinto will participate in his second Sprint, having debuted in that format in the United States, where he finished in twelfth position after being surpassed only by Oscar Piastri and Sergio "Checo" Pérez. These results have caught the attention of teams Sauber and Racing Bulls, who might consider him for the 2025 season, although there are no confirmations on that yet.

The schedule for the Brazilian Grand Prix includes activities from Friday through Sunday. On Friday, Free Practice 1 will take place at 11:30 and the Sprint Qualifying at 15:30. Saturday will begin with the Sprint at 11, followed by Qualifying at 15. Finally, on Sunday, the main race will be held at 14:00.
