British driver Lando Norris (McLaren) reinforced his lead in the Formula 1 World Championship by winning the São Paulo Grand Prix (Brazil) at the Interlagos circuit. His main title rival, his Australian teammate Oscar Piastri, finished fifth, while the four-time world champion Dutchman Max Verstappen (Red Bull) came in third.

Verstappen, who started from the pit lane after a puncture, staged a spectacular comeback drive, showcasing his legendary determination. His performance helped Red Bull solidify its second place in the Constructors' Championship, especially as Ferrari failed to score points due to retirements for Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton.

Norris, who led for most of the race, claimed his 11th F1 victory and seventh of the season. He now has 390 points, 24 more than Piastri and 49 more than Verstappen. With three races and a sprint in Qatar remaining until the championship concludes in Abu Dhabi on December 7th, Norris is in a strong position.

The Spanish drivers Carlos Sainz (Williams) and Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) finished 13th and 14th, respectively. Verstappen, despite the setbacks, once again proved why he is considered one of the sport's greats, delivering another masterclass in driving.
