The president of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, stated this Friday that the global geopolitical situation is "difficult", and accused his American counterpart, Donald Trump, of "threatening the whole world", amid his rejection of the war that the United States and Israel started against Iran. "We in Brazil do not want war, we want peace, with access to culture, to study, the right to fall in love, we want good things and we do not want war. Whoever wants war, let them go to the other side of the planet. Here we are not afraid to be happy", assured the president, as reported by the Argentine News Agency. Likewise, the head of state emphasized that Brazil has no interest in getting involved in armed conflicts and reiterated that his Government prioritizes peace as a way to expand the population's access to social, economic and cultural rights.
