
The Argentine goalkeeper of Flamengo, Agustín Rossi, was a victim of insecurity in Brazil after his car was shot at. The incident took place on Thursday morning when the Brazilian team's delegation was returning to their country after facing Central Córdoba from Santiago del Estero in a Copa Libertadores match that ended in a 1-1 draw.
Rossi's vehicle was hit by four shots, but being armored, he was able to continue his journey without major inconveniences. In addition to Rossi, other players from the squad also suffered an attempted robbery while traveling through Linha Amarela, near Bonsucesso.
After the draw with Central Córdoba, the Santiago team managed to equal the points with Liga Deportiva Universitaria de Quito at the top of the group, both with eight points, while Flamengo was in third place with five points.
So far, the club has not issued any official statement regarding the incident.
