Recent reports from Brazilian media indicate that the Al-Vasl club has officially offered a transfer for the Colombian player Brayan Palacios during the ongoing winter transfer window. The newspaper "Central di Galio" noted that the Brazilian club Atletiko Mineiro received an offer for the transfer of their 22-year-old player to Al-Vasl for 2.4 million dollars.
Negotiations between the clubs are ongoing, considering that the Brazilian club acquired Palacios for three million dollars last March from the Colombian club Atletico Nacional. In the case of a successful completion of the deal, Al-Vasl will pay the sum in three installments: 800 thousand dollars in February of the next year and the same amount in January 2026 and January 2027.
Palacios plays in the position of extreme winger with both feet, better accustomed to the right flank, as he is predominantly left-footed. In the past season, he played for Atletico Mineiro in 26 matches, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
On the other hand, "Al-Vasl" included Argentine player Jheronimo Bobali in the starting lineup of the first football team in this current winter transfer window. Serbian player Srdjan Miloevic was excluded from the "Emperor" list after numerous critiques in the current season, not being able to showcase himself in the best way in six league matches, receiving two warnings and one red card.
Bobali returns to "Al-Vasl" after a prolonged absence of around nine months due to injury, sustained during the team training in May 2024, before the match against "Al-Batain" in the 22nd round of the previous season. He underwent surgery after a ruptured left cruciate ligament, as the club reported in an official statement on their social media page.
Bobali is one of the main figures in the training scheme of coach Milos Miloevich, demonstrating remarkable results in the past season, becoming the pillar of team success and achieving a historic double - the championship and the president's cup. He participated in the match between "Al-Vasl" and Qatari "SAD" in the qualifiers, spending 40 minutes and showcasing a superior level of involvement in the team's victory in the first starting matches of the new year.
