Brazilian Artist Pedro Sampaio Unveils New Single and Prepares for Mexico Show

Brazilian producer and DJ Pedro Sampaio begins a new stage with the release of 'G-Latina', his latest single in collaboration with El Bogueto. Available now on digital platforms, the track reinforces his bet on urban sounds and connection with the Latin scene, combining danceable rhythms with an energy designed to conquer global playlists. In parallel, the artist prepares to reunite with the Mexican public at Tecate Emblema, where he will be part of the lineup in May. Sampaio notes that his return to the country is no coincidence, but part of a process that began with his first contact with the local scene. 'My first time in Mexico was at the Coca-Cola Flow Fest. There I met El Bogueto in J Balvin's dressing room,' he recalls. That encounter, he says, was decisive both professionally and personally. 'We connected in a very natural way, we get along very well, and that is the first step for an incredible song.' Sampaio emphasizes that this naturalness was key to the final result. 'I brought the idea and Bogueto wrote his verse in about 20 minutes, he is very talented,' he adds. After that, we went to the studio and created 'G-Latina.' 'G-Latina' is very special because it mixes Brazilian funk with Mexican reggaeton. I love being able to mix both cultures with songs and collaborations.' For the DJ and producer, this return to the country is not by chance, but part of a process that began from his first contact with the local scene. 'I love this mix of cultures and rhythms,' he explains. In this sense, he also anticipates that his show will seek to stand out in a diverse lineup: 'It will be a show with a lot of energy, different from everything.' After this, he also announced his 'Brazil in Chaos Tour' tour through different countries. At the same time, the artist is already outlining his next steps, with Mexico as a key axis for his growth. 'I love many Mexican artists, so the next step will be more collaborations in Mexico. Now I return to work on the promotion, it is like a dream come true.' Regarding the connection with the Mexican public, Sampaio identifies deep cultural affinities: 'Brazil and Mexico are similar in many aspects, both have a very strong and own culture. I come to Mexico with a lot of respect for the culture and the people. I think I will be the only artist who will bring Brazilian funk to the festival, and that makes it very special.' Already available on digital platforms, the theme reinforces his bet on urban sounds and the connection with the Latin scene, combining danceable rhythms with an energy designed to conquer global playlists. In parallel, his international reach has been boosted by the success of 'Jetski', a theme that exceeded his expectations: 'It was the song of the summer in Brazil, number one. It is a great success and an important first step outside of Brazil.' Part of that growth also responds to his understanding of the current digital environment, where platforms like TikTok play a central role in musical dissemination. 'TikTok helps us to make a song viral very quickly. In all my releases I include choreographies, because my songs have a lot of energy and are very danceable,' he says.
