The 30-year-old woman, along with accomplices, staged her own disappearance to gain attention and increase her follower count on social media. The incident began when reports of her disappearance surfaced online. To lend credibility to the story, videos were circulated purporting to show her release and the physical assault of her husband by supposed captors. A specialized anti-kidnapping police unit launched an investigation after receiving reports about the couple's disappearance. However, officers quickly identified significant inconsistencies in the testimonies and graphic materials provided. Authorities determined that the event was meticulously planned as an aggressive digital marketing strategy. When confronted by investigators, Fraga could not maintain the kidnapping story's validity against the collected evidence. The arrest took place last Wednesday, March 25. Investigators stated that such actions not only constitute fraud against the audience but also pose a real danger to society by diverting law enforcement from genuine kidnapping cases.
